Parasailing around Anna Maria Island is one of the most breathtaking ways to take in Florida’s Gulf Coast. Soar up to 400 feet above the turquoise water with a bird’s-eye view of the island’s white sand beaches, mangroves, and marine life below, all while the warm Florida sun and Gulf breeze surround you.
Every parasailing trip starts with a boat ride out to open water. Once you’re out there, you’ll sit on the launching pad and gently rise into the air. Flights typically last 8 to 15 minutes and you can choose to fly solo or with one or two other people. When it’s time to come down, the choice is yours: land back on the boat completely dry or take a splash in the water for a memorable finish.
Whether you’re looking for a solo thrill or a shared experience with family or friends, parasailing on Anna Maria Island delivers views and memories that are hard to top.
Parasailing is one of many ways to get out on the water here. For a complete guide to every water activity available on the island, see my Water Activities on Anna Maria Island: My Insider Guide.
