Regardless of the reason you watch, viewing a home go from dated to Pinterest worthy in just 30 to 45 minutes is exciting. In addition, the absence of stress from managing your own renovation is a bonus!

Amazing Interiors

This non-hosted series focuses on an eye for unique design and the motivation to make it happen. The homes have unusual interiors and are full of surprises.

Episodes feature three different houses. One home is under construction or renovation and the episode follows the process. The other two houses are highlighted as segments during the show. Watch on — Netflix

Christina on the Coast / in the Country

After her success as a real estate guru, designer, and cohost of Flip or Flop, in 2019 Christina Hall returned with Christina on the Coast. The series premiered with Hall renovating her post- divorce home. In this series she continues to infuse her SoCal style in the homes she renovates. The show returns for Season 5 with 12 new episodes in 2024.

In the premiere of Christina in the Country in 2023, Hall puts down roots in Tennessee, creating breathtaking renovations and making memories with her kids and husband, Josh. This show returns in2024 for Season 2 with six new episodes. Watch on — HGTV, Max

Dream Home Makeover

Since 2020, this four season hit show follows interior designer Shea McGee and her husband, Syd, as they help families turn their houses into dream homes. Shea is a master at design! Take a look into the McGees’ as they run Studio McGee, raise their three young daughters, and make renovations on their own home. Watch on — Netflix

Farmhouse Fixer

New Kids on the Block’s Jonathan Knight traded the stage for a gig hosting Farmhouse Fixer. Knight and his designer, Kristina Crestin, restore old New England farmhouses. Fixer to Fabulous

Dave and Jenny Marrs have renovated hundreds of homes in Arkansas since 2004. Dave is the builder and Jenny is the designer. Good Bones

Down to earth mother and daughter team Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk know their way around a toolbox! They have a beautiful admiration for each other. They remodel properties in their native Indianapolis. There is relatively nothing these two chicks can’t accomplish and they use their expertise to remodel rundown homes into gorgeous works of art, all the while while providing good humor. Grand Designs

In this British unscripted show, host Kevin McCloud tracks down unusual one-of-a-kind dwellings and follows their construction from plans to landscaping. McCloud travels from southern Ireland to West London to the Isle of Skye, looking for owners who are creating radical new-builds. Each episode includes McCloud meeting the clients, visiting the site, and discussing the plans for the building. Watch on — Amazon Prime

Home Town

Home Town husband and wife team, Erin and Ben Napier, renovate and transform houses in their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. With their shared love of southern living Erin focuses on the design and Ben focuses on building and woodworking. Due to the success of Home Town since it launched in 2016, a spinoff, Home Town Takeover, takes Erin and Ben on the road. Season 1 with the location of Wetumpka, Alabama had Ben and Erin updating ranch houses, a vintage home, a boutique, a restaurant, and a farmer’s market. Season 2, with co-hosts Dave and Jenny Marrs, was located in Fort Morgan, Colorado. It including the renovation of a public park and a bowling alley. The location for upcoming Season 3 is Sebring, Florida. — Watch on HGTV, and Discovery+

Renovation Aloha

Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama buy and flip houses in Oahu, one of the world’s most expensive real estate markets. While buying rundown homes and transforming them into modern havens, they navigate expensive shipping costs and crazy lead times.

Tristyn, the designer, plans the renovation while Kamohai, the real estate expert, hunts down flips. After completing each renovation, they gather with their family and Kamohai’s dad blesses the new home.

Restored by the Fords

Brother and sister duo Leanne and Steve Ford focus on renovating quirky spaces into cool and contemporary homes in the Pittsburgh area. Stay Here

With short-term rentals much in demand, Stay Here turns unassuming properties into something extravagant and potential moneymakers. Tiny House Nation (FYI)

Tiny homes are not for everyone. If you are contemplating downsizing, this series is for you. Host John Weisbarth and pro Zack Giffin tour the U.S. and explore the micro home trend. Van Go
